A stitch in time

A stitch in time saves nine, But all my efforts couldn't save mine. I have fought to remain in her heart, But my victory ended up a thought. I have yearned for her care but I couldn't earn a stare. I think if love is earned, I should own a place in her heart. I loved everything about her and this made me lose other things I ever had. In my pursuit for true love I ended up in a despair of a lonely heart. My love, my joy, my hope has turned out to become a tale. I wish I had a chance to see a light or at least be able to make things right, and all these I say with a broken heart. ((intermission)) Actually this was me, striving for success.
