VICTORY OVER MY THOUGHTS

For a very long time now I had always found it very difficult dealing with negative thoughts.



Whenever bad thoughts come into my head I will always feel helpless towards dealing with it.



My mind had been in serious panic. Everything just turned out to be a vicious circle.



However, today I am going to talk to us now on how to overcome negative thoughts.



The bible says we should "bring to captive every thought to the obedience of Christ!"



So you have the power to bring your thoughts to captive. You have the strength to subdue your thoughts.



Dealing with negative thoughts and feelings are very much possible. Nothing in this world has the right to pervade your mind. God has given to each and everyone of us the free will of the mind.

We are only subject to whatever we open up our minds too.



That's why the bible tells us not to harden our hearts when we hear the word of God because to an extent, we can prevent God's word from penetrating our minds.



But today, take a stand. Take a decision to reject any negative thing that comes to your mind.



As an individual and as a Christian you have this innate power over your mind.



I came to realise that evil thoughts are not always inside of us. These thoughts are most times resident outside our mind. What they do is that they hover around us and try to compel us and also they wait for an opportunity to come into our mind perhaps when we accept them or open up for them.



Now, believe the devil has lost his grip over your mind. God defeated him in heaven.

Jesus triumphed over him here on earth.

And the Holy Spirit now overcame him in our minds.

We are now living in absolute victory.



Our heart is God's home and our minds still remains a battlefield. But be strong, Christ has won the victory for us.



Keep being transformed by the renewal of your mind.
