*DAILY DEW 14/JANUARY/2023* *HOW TO BECOME AN ASSET TO YOUR LOCAL ASSEMBLY* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ *So I make a request to you on behalf of Onesimus, who is my own son in Christ; for while in prison I have become his spiritual father. At one time he was of no use to you, but now he is useful both to you and to me. I am sending him back to you now, and with him goes my heart. So, if you think of me as your partner, welcome him back just as you would welcome me.* (Philemon 1:10-12,17 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ _Be Sensitive To Those Who Redirect You Towards Your Local Assembly; Distance Yourself From Those Who Try To Buy You Over By All Means_ You don't tear one down to build another. The turf and territorial boundaries in ministries are fueled by very dishonest church-planting tactics that lack soul winning at their core. Those called to minister to the body and busy running roughshod with those called to minister to local church assemblies. Holding believer's meetings and teaching meetings to strengthen and confirm local churches is always a precursor to revival. We will have a great revival instead of turf wars. Your friend's associate minister shouldn't be welcomed because he fell out with your friend to become your associate. You should mediate peace and reconciliation and not absorb him or her. Stop trying to woo the music team of another church with things to make them leave and join you. Hope you haven't forgotten we will be judged the harshest! God did not call you into ministry to practice wickedness against any part of his Body. We are over 200 million as a nation, and less than half of this is saved. We need more churches for soul-winning and discipline, not soul-swapping. The scripture says your neighbor's stray animal should be your responsibility to lead back to its owner. There are many stray sheep that need help to go back to their spiritual family. I have asked people to go back and repair their relationship with the Pastor and church and facilitated the same because I saw satan leading a sheep astray. When sons/daughters, associates, and leaders of friends in ministry confide in you of difficulties with their oversight that borders on issues that shouldn't warrant their leaving, mediate and help them back home! Some of you reading here know how I help steadied you to stay with your local church when things went awry and difficult. How I would call and assuage your anger, hurt, and pushed you to talk things over, instead of just walking away! Now I see the relationship healed, my job is done, and my friends are in the dark about how I fought for them. I have met some great souls and huge spiritual assets, and my first question is what are you doing in my church when you should be in your church laboring with your father that has raised you this well? And they break down, tell you their story, and it is something to be ignored! _MEDITATION:_ *"When issues are grave, I insist they leave peacefully and talk with the Pastor one-on-one.
