David Joshua Egbochuo  29th May, 2023

*DAILY DEW 28/MAY/2023* *PRESERVED IN JESUS CHRIST* _Key Bible Text:_ *"Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and PRESERVED IN JESUS CHRIST, and called" (Jude 1:1 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To preserve is to maintain (something) in its original or existing state. The Bible teaches us that we are preserved IN Jesus Christ. We are "kept safe by Jesus Christ" (Message) or "keeps you safe in the care of Jesus Christ" (NLT) or "kept for Jesus Christ" (Amplified/NIV) It is therefore evident that our preservation or safety is BY, IN, & FOR Jesus Christ. Let's meditate and ponder on this. Your preservation or safety is not BY any other than Jesus Christ. This means of yourself you can't keep or preserve yourself. Only BY Jesus can we be kept. In deed, we are "kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Peter 1:5 (KJV)) We are kept IN Christ Jesus. Jesus is the Living Word of God, and our preservation and safety is assured as we continue IN Him! John 8:31-32 (KJV) says this *"If ye continue in MY WORD, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you FREE."* OUTSIDE of Jesus (The WORD), we are neither preserved not safe. (Romans 11:21, 22; Acts 30:32) Our preservation is only guaranteed as we continue and remain in the Word. Finally, we are kept FOR Jesus Christ. It is to the glory and use and pleasure of Jesus Christ that we are kept. We are not kept for personal aggrandizement or selfish reasons. We are kept for Christ. Not for our own selves but for His name sake and his glory, and kingdom advancement. God's "selfishness" is only in our best interest, but our selfishness is to our ruin. (Hebrew 12:10) _MEDITATION:_ *For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.* (Philippians 2:13 (KJV)) *#David_Joshua_Egbochuo* *#Daily_Wisdom_for_living* *#Becoming_More_Like_Jesus* *#The_Rise_of_An_Army* *#Daily_Dew_Devotional* *#Hello_MAY,2023* ❤ Links To Visit: *FB Pages* https://www.facebook.com/DavidJoshuaEgbochuo/ https://www.facebook.com/thedavidgen/ https://www.facebook.com/THEREVIVALCORPS/ *Telegram Group:* https://t.me/joinchat/NzXQlVc9Hx7LfaRSnh9fHg Feel Free to Share with Friends.
