*DAILY DEW 13/JANUARY/2024* The Folly In Man!! 2 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.* (Daniel 3:1 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ The Idea of "The great image" rather than move the King to the worship of God, moved the king to the worship of Gold. What a great folly! Man's folly lies in his quickness to desire more than is necessary; coveteousness. The king would both forget who made Him and also desire to gain more fame, prominence, glory and even worship! This is very much typical of the human nature. The emilokans of this world have tasted it all, but yet they will always want more! To be able to draw the line between covetousness/greed and a healthy desire for more growth and expansion is great gain! Most people do not seem to know where to draw the line. Or else why would a king, who never ever had an idea of an image, even forgot the dream, and also admited that God is the revealer of secrets, go ahead to set up a huge Golden Image and insist that all must bow to the said image? _MEDITATION:_ 𝙋𝙨𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙨 14:1 (𝙆𝙅𝙑) 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩, 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤 𝙂𝙤𝙙.
