*DAILY DEW 27/APRIL/2024* *The fool's disgrace & the wise's glory* _Key Bible Text:_ *"The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools."* Proverbs 3:35 (KJV) _Bible Insight:_ Proverbs 3:35 The wise will inherit honor, but fools get disgrace. (ESV) Proverbs 3:35 Honour, shall the wise inherit, but, as for dullards, shame shall carry them away. (EB) Proverbs 3:35 You will be praised if you are wise, but you will be disgraced if you are a stubborn fool. (CEV) A stubborn fool is one who doesn't know he's foolish or one who doesn't learn how to stop being foolish. Disgrace is a function of who or what one habitually does. By deeds shall wisdom be known. Likewise by deeds shall foolishness be known as well. The reward of actions that are deemed wise, is honour or glory. The punishment of actions that are deemed foolish is disgrace or shame. Disgrace is not an accident. Likewise recognition, honour or glory is not also by chance or luck. Consistency of wise steps will bring the celebration of honour/glory.
