*DAILY DEW 16/SEPTEMBER/2024* *A Virtuous Woman* _Key Bible Text:_ *A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.* Proverbs 12:4 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ *A helpful wife is a jewel for her husband, but a shameless wife will make his bones rot.* Proverbs 12:4 (CEV) *"A woman of virtue is a crown to her husband; but she whose behaviour is a cause of shame is like a wasting disease in his bones."* Proverbs 12:4 (BBE) . Marriage is a case of "as you make your bed, so you lie on it." And the bed making begins long before the marriage is made. If you don't take time, to build character, good sense, virtues, and patience long before you speak of marriage, you will have more work to do than is necessary in the marriage. Granted! This sort of bed making, is not limited to the female gender. However, today's focus from the passage before us is on the woman/wife. And quite frankly, the wife's role is so critical. She comes with so much uniqueness. Same is true for the husband to be. Each partner must gather sense, character and virtue while still single.
