*DAILY DEW 28/NOVEMBER/2024* *To Gain Understanding* _Key Bible Text:_ *"The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way: but the folly of fools is deceit."* Proverbs 14:8 (KJV) _Bible Insight_ And God said to Solomon, "Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king..." But God did not stop there. He said... "Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like." Whenever you seek wisdom and understanding, you gain even much more, including riches, wealth and honour. Prudent people cultivate a passionate desire to gain knowledge, wisdom and understanding. They are not looking for ways to cut corners or ways to deceitfully gain the things they need/want. Prudence desires to acquire the knowledge and understanding of the rudiments, the principles, the ways things work and should work, that they may apply it. _MEDITATION:_ *Become more prudent.
