*BINDING THE STRONG MAN*

_Key Bible Text:_
*"No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house."* (Mark 3: 27)

_Bible Insight_

Jesus taught that to plunder a strong man's house, one must first bind the strong man (Mark 3:27). In this context, the strong man represents Satan, and the house represents the domain of darkness.

This verse teaches us that:

1 - *Spiritual warfare precedes victory*: Before experiencing deliverance or salvation, the stronghold of Satan must be overcome.

2 - *Jesus' authority is key*: Jesus' power and authority are essential for binding the strong man and freeing captives. What power does an ordinary man have over the devil?

_Application in Evangelism or Ministry:_

1 - *Prayer and spiritual preparation*: Before engaging in evangelism or ministry, prayer and spiritual preparation are essential to overcome spiritual strongholds. Every day is a day you are stepping out into the enemy's territory. Being successful in life, business and career also requires you prepare and pray for victory.

2 - *Recognizing spiritual opposition*: Be aware of the enemy's attempts to hinder the spread of the gospel and the work of God.

Every opposition in the physical is a manifestation of the spiritual aggression and opposition of the enemy. Don't be casual.

3- *Relying on Jesus' authority*: Trust in Jesus' power and authority to overcome spiritual opposition and bring people to salvation. Without being in tune and aligned with God, your advancement is never guaranteed.

_Ministry Impact:_
This teaching encourages ministers and evangelists to:

- *Pray for spiritual breakthroughs*: Seek God's power and guidance to overcome spiritual strongholds.

- *Trust in Jesus' authority*: Rely on Jesus' power to bring people to salvation and deliverance.

- *Be prepared for spiritual opposition*: Anticipate and overcome spiritual resistance through prayer and faith.
