As a promise, it is our place to seek God's kind of blessings that makes rich, edifies and at the same time leaves no sour taste or any regrets or sorrow along with it. If you ever think something, or anything is God's blessing but it is causing you sorrow, you must challenge it and address it in prayer. As a promise, God will not promise a good blessing and give a wahala (problematic) blessing. As a standard, any alleged God's blessing that has sorrow attached, is to be confronted by God's word or promise. E.g.
