To be unfaithful is to be wicked! Those who do wickedly are those who are unfaithful. You cannot afford to be lukewarm. God will spew you out! Unfaithfulness is wickedness. Unfaithfulness is lukewarmness. Unfaithfulness is you preparing yourself to be an easy catch for the devil! If the devil will try the faithful, what is the hope of the unfaithful? You are always the one who misses prayer meetings, either online or offline. You are the one too busy for bible study wether personal or corporately in church. You are the one who hardly attends workers meetings, or unit meetings yet you want to lead or play your role during Sunday service. Hmm You are the one waiting for special call or follow up either from your Pastor or your leader before you join the meeting or play a role. My brother, your unfaithfulness is a mark of wickedness before God. You are being wicked unto the covenant. You will play yourself into the devil's hands o. _MEDITATION:_ Make up your mind. *DAILY DEW 29/JANUARY/2024* Daily Sacrifices 2 _Key Bible Text:_ *"He will send troops to pollute the temple and the fortress, and he will stop the daily sacrifices. Then he will set up that " Horrible Thing" that causes destruction.."* Daniel 11:31 (CEV) _Bible Insight:_ Daniel 11:31 (KJV) reads, "...., and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate." Research refers to both history and possible apocalyptic future events. Jesus also referred to this. Matthew 24:15 (KJV) *"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)"* This refers to possible luring away of believers in the end times and the corruption and "destruction" of the holy. It is like, using evil in place of good. This can again be taken as some forewarning. Something to prepare against. Anyone or anything that tempts to corrupt our "daily sacrifices" is gradually going to corrupt our understanding and appreciation of the place of God and righteousness. It is your duty and mine, to guard againt the trends that commonize the holy and spiritualize the unholy. We live in a generation that continuously masters the art of christianizing or spiritualizing the ungodly while "wordlifying" or "commonizing" the godly. While we may not agree on how this happens or instances that depicts this, we can agree that it is definitely upon us already! _MEDITATION:_ The devil does not corrupt suddenly. *DAILY DEW 28/JANUARY/2024* Daily Sacrifices _Key Bible Text:_ *"And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate."* Daniel 11:31 (KJV) _Bible Insight:_ Without going into the apocalyptic or deeper dimensions of the meaning of Daniel 11:31, some accurate interpretation can be seen like pearls on the bank of a river. Such ideas of "polluting the sanctuary of the strength, and shall take away daily sacrifice" clearly depicts something negative: one that should be avoided. One easy lesson, that we can glean from this is, your place of strength lies in your daily sacrifice! What you do daily, determines whether you will become or remain strong, or weakened over time! Daily sacrifices in this case will refer to daily routines that most likely requires the price of discipline and diligence. Anything that takes away your daily or regular positive routines, is an attack on your "sanctuary of strength"! Whatever good you do daily or regularly, fight hard to keep doing it. Therein lies your strength, and indeed, your rising! _MEDITATION:_ Daily sacrifices are daily or regular routines or activities that add to your value, knowledge and worth positively. *DAILY DEW 27/JANUARY/2024* Divine Presence 3 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ How do I command the presence of God in 2024? 1. You must be born again! If God does not know you, He cannot be for you. Relationship of salvation is what commits God to cater for you as his child! Relationship!! God cannot be with you, if he does not have a relationship with you. Are you born again!? Or you are born in a Christian home!? Are you saved? Or you attend gatherings for those who are saved? 2. Obedience to His word: Live in obedience to His word. Be like Jesus, who said... In John 8:29 (KJV) "And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him." If you have a delight in doing the word of God; He will have a delight in helping you by His presence! 3. Prayers. Prayers connect you to the presence of God. You can't be too busy to pray and be wishing to dwell in the presence of God. A man who does not have a habit of bathing and brushing regularly, will have a habit of wearing an unpleasant ordor regularly! Studying/reading the bible and Praying and fasting and praising God regularly attracts the abiding presence of God. *DAILY DEW 26/JANUARY/2024* Divine Presence 2 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."* (Matthew 11:28 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ What happens when you carry the presence of God? 1. It is a guarantee of rest- God gives you rest in His presence. His presence is a place of rest. Not necessarily rest in terms of you doing no work, but rest in terms of you playing your part with peace of mind and assurance of result and progress. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Matthew 11:29 (KJV) 2. You may have money and be in position but you may not have rest. It is the presence of God that gives rest. As you take his "yoke" of faith, righteous covenant, forgiveness, obedience, etc you will see yourself live an anxiety free life. 3. Unlimited grace. Exodus 33:16 (KJV) For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth. *DAILY DEW 25/JANUARY/2024* Divine Presence _Key Bible Text:_ *"Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me."* (John 15:4 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ You cannot have his presence and be defeated in life. Divine presence brings divine productivity, protection and all round prosperity. 3 levels of divine presence: 1. Omni presence. God is present everywhere at every time. 2. Manifest presence- the presence of God that causes awe and wonder. 3. Mobile presence-- Carriable presence of God that abides with individuals. At this level, the individual has built a solid friendship and communion with the Holy Spirit. Anointing is not the biggest issue. Divine presence is the issue. The presence of God is what really matters. Saul was anointed but only abided in God's presence for 2 years. *DAILY DEW 24/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance (The End) _Key Bible Text:_ *"I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."* (Psalms 32:8 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ Our God is a teaching God. Our God is an instructing God. And God is a guiding God. The problem has never been with God. You and I, are the problem when it comes to divine guidance. Two key points that brings out the taste of divine guidance are as follows: The first is choosing to be a Mary over choosing to be a Martha. What this means is that, we must prioritize the word of God. Your ability to receive divine guidance is depending on your attitude and relationship towards the written word. God's word as expressed in the Bible must become our go-to book! We would be hypocrites to ask God to speak to us, but we can't spare some time to read or study His word! Secondly, be a David and not a Saul. Saul would rather obey men than God, but David would rather displease his wife (men) and please God. Finding God exciting and fulfilling qualifies you for divine guidance. When you delight in God, God also delights in you. Because of His delight towards you, God releases his secrets and extra information to you. Being glad in the Lord must translate to enjoying and seeking God's presence. This must in turn mean making time to fellowship with God both personally and with the brethren. You qualify for divine guidance when you practice trusting in God in all things & at all times. Indeed, those who trust in God, signal to heaven that they are ready to be led.
