David Joshua Egbochuo  5th August, 2023 - from App

*DAILY DEW 4/AUGUST/2023* *A FAITH THAT STANDS STILL* _Key Bible Text:_ *"'Did the gods of any other nations save their countries from the emperor of Assyria? When did any of the gods of all these countries ever save their country from our emperor? Then what makes you think the LORD can save Jerusalem?' The people kept quiet, just as King Hezekiah had told them to; they did not say a word."* (2 Kings 18:33, 35-36 (GNB)) _Bible Insight:_ It is good to talk back at the devil. It is good to counter what the enemy voices are saying. Faith does that too. However do not put yourself under pressure to talk back at the devil even when the Lord has not spoken or you have not yet connected to know and speak what the Lord is saying. Faith keeps still too. Faith stays calm too. Faith refuses to respond too. Faith refuses to answer back too. Faith can be amusingly silent, and patient but not complacent. Don't forget Moses. Exodus 14:13 says, *"And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, STAND STILL, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever."* Just like Hezekiah, after all Assyrian commanders had to say, ugly things like- *"When did any of the gods of all these countries ever save their country from our emperor? Then what makes you think the LORD can save Jerusalem?"* Or things like: You cannot save yourself or help yourself or heal yourself but you are praying for others and it will happen? Why? Where is your God? When questions or scenarios like this or similar to this comes your way, don't be quick or pressured to give a response. Trust God and be still for Faith stands still even in the storms. Jesus said the following words that still pictures how peace or calm and challenges can exist at the same time.. *"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls."* Luke 21:17-19 (KJV) In your patience posses your soul, in your faith be calm and see God fight for you. _MEDITATION:_ *"When Faith is silent in the public it is because it is loud in the secret. Nurture the voice of God in your spirit man over that situation, so that when it is time to speak out, you will speak victoriously!"* *#David_Joshua_Egbochuo* *#Daily_Wisdom_for_living* *#Becoming_More_Like_Jesus* *#The_Rise_of_An_Army* *#Daily_Dew_Devotional* *#Hello_AUGUST,2023* ❤ Links To Visit: *FB Pages* https://www.facebook.com/DavidJoshuaEgbochuo/ https://www.facebook.com/thedavidgen/ https://www.facebook.com/THEREVIVALCORPS/ *Telegram Group:* https://t.me/joinchat/NzXQlVc9Hx7LfaRSnh9fHg Feel Free to Share with Friends.
