*DAILY DEW 25/SEPTEMBER/2023* *Longsuffering* (III) _Key Bible Text:_ "*Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ."* (2 Timothy 2:3 (KJV) _Bible Insight:_ How is longsuffering the foundation for gentleness or goodness? Gentleness is becoming a not very common quality as the days go by. These days, the gentle people are easily taken for granted, sidelined and sometimes outrightly canceled. Don't you think so? Well, the truth remains that gentleness remains a fruit of the spirit. The hustle and bustle of life and the woke generation spirit can never remove gentleness as a fruit of the Spirit. It therefore requires some measure of longsuffering to stick to the quality of gentleness. Need I say more? Goodness? Really? In a world where people almost always end up regretting after doing good!? Have you not experienced one of such yourself? Or have you not heard? Well, that is it! Goodness has never been under threat like it is these days. "Who being good help" or "who goodness help" will soon be a trend in a generation where the mohbads of this world are the celebrities.
