*DAILY DEW 22/OCTOBER/2023* *The Witnesses' Assignment* (4) _Key Bible Text:_ *"So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs."* (John 21:15 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ A witness is in the business of loving God above all else. God uses those who proves to be in love with him. You cannot meaningfully build up yourself, talk less of others, if you have no growing love for God. The love for God must come first before the love for souls. It is the love for God that propels the passion for soul winning. Any love for God that does not result in increasing love for the people of God is actually questionable. There can be no better proof that we are growing in love for God if it is not bringing about more love for the souls that Jesus died for. Aim to grow in love for God. Don't be satisfied with where you are. Truth is if we are not growing in love, tendency is that we have left our first love. To be an effective witness, we go beyond falling in love with Jesus.
