*DAILY DEW 8/NOVEMBER/2023* *This Life Is Not Balanced* _Key Bible Text:_ *"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."* (John 16:33 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ In all of scripture, no where did God promise a problem free life! God never did all through the Old Testament. In the New Testament, even while with them, Jesus never promised His disciples a problem free life. In fact, he prepared them for challenges and problems. "In the world ye shall have tribulation", is the "promise" we have from Jesus. Someone will ask, what is tribulation? In english dictionary, it simply means "a cause of great trouble or suffering." That is certainly a problem, a major problem even. And you know, sometimes, the problems we would have to deal with, will not be ones we think we deserve or should be facing! There are problems, we have invited by our actions or inaction, but there are those we don't even understand why we have to deal with them! So tribulation is not negotiable. When dealing with these problems, you would sometimes feel "life is not balanced." _MEDITATION:_ *Every test that you have experienced is the kind that normally comes to people.
