*DAILY DEW 12/JANUARY/2024* The Folly In Man!! _Key Bible Text:_ *"Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible."* (Daniel 2:31 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ "The great image" idea was from a disturbing dream King Nubechadnezzar had. He forgot the dream and needed a revelation of both the dream and the interpretation of it. He got both but unfortunately forgot who revealed the dream or how he got the interpretation. Man's folly lies in his quickness in forgetting who MADE him. Daniel's intervention saved the day. The king had to admit as follows: Daniel 2:47 (KJV) The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth it is, that your God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret. Before this, the king also did this:- Daniel 2:46 (KJV) Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
