*DAILY DEW 21/JANUARY/2024* Divine Guidance 5 _Key Bible Text:_ *"Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee."* (Psalms 32:9 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ To secure divine guidance, you must desist from talking too much or uncontrollably. Refrain from always trying to share the little you know. Humility shown in self retraint is the signal that tells God that you are ready for divine guidance. You cannot always be full of words to share and be able to hear God's voice when he speaks. Worst still, you will be too busy talking and sharing that you will not seek God's guidance nor perceive when he sends one even "unsolictedly". Your ability to tame your tongue and resist the urge to share even if you know, will strategically position you to learn and receive more. And in the process, divine guidance comes along too. Don't be a tongue- trigger happy teacher. Be a happy-to-listen student. One more thing, practice listening prayer. Don't pray by always talking. Pray by also listening. For prayer is a two way communication exercise.
