*DAILY DEW 7/JUNE/2024* *THE APPLE OF YOUR EYES* _Key Bible Text:_ *My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.* (Proverbs 7:1-2 (KJV)) _Bible Insight:_ I am used to knowing that I am the apple of God's eyes. But today's passage reminded me that God want me to keep His word as the apple of my eyes. It is such a needed reminder. We come to God with a PARASITIC mindset a lot. It is always about what to get or gain, what to receive from God and how God will bless us. We usually don't remember or consider that God needs us to come to him with a SYMBIOTIC mindset. He wants to benefit from our lives too. We are the apple of His eyes, so he wants us to keep His word as the apple of our own eyes too. He loved us first, so we should love him in return. He sent his son to die for us, so he could raise from us (humanity) many sons like Christ! _MEDITATION:_ *"If you call God a business man you are not far from the truth. Even Jesus said, he was supposed to be about His father's business.
